Cadillac class and style in a powerful SUV loaded with features fit for luxury. This Escalade comes with a powerful 6.0-liter V8 that produces 345 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. It has plenty of acceleration power, but at first impression the real treat is in the plush ride. Body roll is kept well under control and the continuous adjustments made by the standard Road Sensing Suspension (RSS) maintain an excellent balance between ride quality and road feel. After years of reinventing the Escalades chassis, this model is comfortable, plush, and deserving of the Cadillac trademark. It's also more nimble than you might think. With quick and responsive steering it's easy to navigate the road. The standard features list is extensive, and includes items like tri-zone climate control, leather seating, an in-dash six-CD Bose audio system and satellite radio. As you would expect in a luxury SUV, the Escalade's interior features plenty of soft leather and shiny wood accents not to mention the front bucket seats feel like big lounge chairs. You really need to sit in this car to appreciate the long list of features it's equipped with. The Escalade's standard safety features include a stability control system as well as four-wheel antilock disc brakes, side airbags for the driver and front passenger, and OnStar telematics. Other safety features include HID headlamps, a tire-pressure monitoring system and rear parking sensors. Despite its size the Escalade handles well, has plenty of power, and comes with all the luxurious comfort that Cadillac is renown for.
